Bachata in Amsterdam

We’re happy to offer 2 different styles of bachata:

Bachata Sensual was born in Cádiz (Spain) more than 10 years ago founded by Jorge Escalona & Judith Cordero. Nowadays it is one of the most practiced couple’s dances in the world, growing exponentially day by day thanks to its careful methodology that is what makes it an internationally recognized dance style. Discover our bachata classes and enjoy with the best teachers. We follow the methodology & technique learned by Korke & Judith, creators of this style, and we’re proud to spread our knowledge under the official brand #BachataSensual in Holland.

Dominican Bachata is the most traditional style as Bachata was born in the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean islands. Both the music and the dance have been influenced by Cuban Bolero, Merengue (also from Dominican Republic), Salsa and Cumbia.

Bachata Lady Style project "Bailemos Ladies" with Valentina - Mondays from 19:00 to 20:30 @ Damoves

Are you a bachatera up for a challenge? We will learn a short combination to perform at the end of each month in front of the camera. Each month is a different challenge, different song, different style, etc..
Important: intermediate/ advance level of bachata is required. This is a closed group so if you want to join the team please contact us by email or WhatsApp.

Dominican Bachata with Borja - Mondays from 20:30 to 21:30 @ Damoves

We will focus on footwork and body movement techniques that will make dancing more natural to you, as well as look better and have a better connection with your partner. Borja brings a lot of good vibes and knowledge to our students, so make sure to check out his classes in the future! If you don’t feel comfortable with switching partners we suggest you to register with your dance partner. Important: a knowledge of the Basics of bachata is required.

Dominican Bachata on Mondays – 5 classes included (25.01, 1.02, 8.02, 18.02, 25.02)

Bachata Lady Style with Valentina - Tuesdays from 20:30 to 21:30 @ Kluver

Learn all the secrets of lady style, build your confidence while dancing on cool & sensual combinations. We’ll work on balance, arm style, flexibility & much more! Important: A knowledge of the Basics of bachata is required to join this class.

Bachata Lady Style on Tuesdays – 5 classes included (26.01, 2.02, 9.02, 16.02, 23.02)

Sensual Combinations with Erwin & Valentina - Tuesdays from 21:30 to 22:30 @ Kluver

Wanna bring your bachata to the next level? We will teach you sensual combinations that you can use in your social dance. Main part of the class is partnerwork. Important: improvers/intermediate level of Bachata is required to join this class. If you don’t feel comfortable with switching partners we suggest you to register with your dance partner.

Bachata Sensual Improvers with Pablo & Polina - Wednesdays from 21:30 to 22:30 @ Kluver

Our Sensual couple Pablo & Polina will guide through patterns & elements of bachata sensual. Main part of the class is partnerwork. Important: Improvers level of Bachata is required to join this class. If you don’t feel comfortable with switching partners we suggest you to register with your dance partner.

Bachata Sensual on Wednesday – 6 classes included (20.01 27.01, 3.02, 10.02, 17.02, 24.02)

Bachata Sensual Beginners with Alex & Valentina - Thursdays from 20:00 to 21:00 @ Kluver

Do you want to go Sensual but don’t know how? Alex & Valentina will teach you the basic steps of this amazing style from Spain. First part is about basic technique & solo dance, the second part is partnerwork. If you don’t feel comfortable with switching partners we suggest you to register with your dance partner.

Emphasis is always on sensual bachata essentials abut also on technical details that will help you become better leaders and followers and improve your overall understanding of a dance we love and enjoy so much. As sensual bachata purists, Alex and Valentina will always teach elements directly applicable in social dancing. Important: This class requires a knowledge of the basic steps of Bachata Sensual.
